THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE JOINT RESEARCH TEAM

The implementation of the project “Establishment of Learning Network for the consolidation effort of joint environmental control and monitoring in the Black Sea Basin 2 – LeNetEco2” has reached a new stage, that of establishing and developing the first actions of the Joint Research Group.

According to the project, within the Activity Group - GAT3 Joint environmental research the following activities are provided: Forming of the Joint Research Team (AT3.1), Development of the concept LeNetEco platform (AT3.2), as well as 3 Workshops related to this group’s activity. The Joint Research Team (JRT) consists of experts in training for the analysis of national and European experience and the development of training courses for target groups of volunteers, experts in the creation of monitoring methodologies and the development of the electronic map (e-Map) on the state of the environment, as well as experts in the field of laboratory organization.

The activities of the Joint Research Team are oriented towards two major objectives: the elaboration and development of the training program of the target groups of volunteers, as well as the elaboration of the structure of the LeNetEco platform for education and environmental monitoring. The Joint Research Team shall carry out an analytical research into training programs in the field of environmental protection and develop a guide to good practice in the field, preparation of training courses, preparation of questionnaires for target groups, conducting training courses for target groups, coordination and the management of the LeNetEco project website.

 The Joint Research Team will also be involved in actions of dissemination of environmental information to the public by organizing public meetings, preparing materials for the media, preparing reports on environmental quality and will collaborate with regional and local authorities constantly providing consultancy and for the ecological education of people with disabilities.

The establishment of the Joint Research Team was realized by hiring the experts established in the project, through legal procedures, by each partner in the project and based on the minimum selection criteria established: professional experience in the field of at least 2 years, teamwork experience and knowledge of English language. The Joint Research Team works on the basis of the work plan setting out the distribution of responsibilities in order to achieve the objectives of the Joint Research Team as adopted in the first workshop of the group organized by the PP2 project partner: Agency of Sustainable Development and European Integration “Lower Danube” Euroregion” - ASDEI Ismail.
