Agency of Sustainable Development and European Integration “Lower Danube Euroregion”

Agency of Sustainable Development and European Integration “Lower Danube” Euroregion” - is a public organization according the Law of Ukraine “ About citizens associations”, a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization. Agency - is a regional public organization registered in Izmail, Odessa region on June 26th 2008. (web-site: www.asdei.od.ua)

The main purpose of the establishment of the Agency is satisfying, protection and implementation of the Agency's staff their legal rights of freedom, common social, scientific, economic and other interests, and contribute to the process of sustainable development and regional integration in border Odessa region, commonwealth member regions “Lower Danube Euroregion” and the European Community as a whole, the promotion of the European standards of public life and the promotion of sustainable socioeconomic and cultural development of Odessa region as a whole and separately in the Danube region.
The main objectives of the Agency are: 1) Development and implementation of projects in various specific areas aimed at sustainable development of Odesa region as a full member of “Lower Danube” Euroregion”; 2) Informing and raising public awareness on the European Integration.

The institution has specialized departments and staff with expertise in developing and implementing cross-border cooperation projects, working in various areas of interest: management, economic, environment, agriculture, science, education, culture, tourism, entrepreneurship, IT, marketing and communication.

The organization has extensive experience in implementing of cross-border projects. Below are specified some of the projects, a part of the ASDEI’s portfolio:

“Innovative instruments for environmental analysis in North Western Black Sea Basin (Black Sea e-Eye)”, MIS-ETC Code 1475, funded by EU in the framework of Joint Operational Programme “Black Sea Basin 2007-2013”.

The main objective of this project is to study the water quality of the environment in certain regions of countries participating in the design and development of methods of preventing environmental pollution. To study were attracted the leading hydro-researchers from partners regions.
Total budget of the Action: 769 265, 00 EUR
Period of implementation: 10.07.2013 – 09.07.2015

“Innovative instruments for environmental analysis in North Western Black Sea Basin (Black Sea e-Eye)”, MIS-ETC Code 1473, funded by EU in the framework of Joint Operational Programme “Black Sea Basin 2007-2013”.

The objective of the project - capacity building of NGOs to strengthen their role in setting priorities, developing and implementing local and regional development policy public relations.
Total budget of the Action: 484 861, 50 EUR
Period of implementation: 12.06.2013 – 11.12.2014

“Energy – Cross-border Asset”, MIS-ETC Code 1842, funded by EU in the framework of Joint Operational Programme “Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova 2007-2013.
The project contributes to improving the economic, social and environmental situation in the border area by boosting the efficient use of conventional and renewable energy sources to improve the energy efficiency of public sector services in the cross-border region.

Total budget of the Action: 770 201, 00 EUR
Period of implementation: 03.12.2013 – 02.08.2015

“Pure water – to the benefit of villagers”, MIS-ETC Code 1550, by EU in the framework of Joint Operational Programme “Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova 2007-2013.
The overall objective of the project - improvement of living conditions (quality of life) of the population and promote socio-economic development in the cross-border area of Hincesti Distric (MD) - Vaslui County (RO) - Izmail District (UA).
Total budget of the Action: 1 300 960, 00 EUR
Period of implementation: 18.12.2013 – 17.10.2015

“It`s science time”, MIS-ETC Code 2302, by EU in the framework of Joint Operational Programme “Romania-Ukraine-Republic of Moldova 2007-2013.

The main objective of the project is the stimulation of youth communication in the border region and encourage in technology and high-tech inventions by creating cross-border clubs for Science and Technology.
Total budget of the Action: 160 000, 00
