FIRST PROJECT PRESS-CONFERENCE IN BURGAS, BULGARIA

“Prof. D-r. Assen Zlatarov” University organized and conducted the first press-conference about the start of the project “Establishment of Learning Network for the consolidation effort of joint environmental control and monitoring in the Black sea Basin 2” on Wednesday 19th of May 2021. The event started at 10.00 am, and it lasted for approximately three hours, until 13.00 pm. The place of the meeting was Aqua Hotel, bul. Demokracia boulevard, complex Lazur, Burgas, Bulgaria. The working language of the meeting was Bulgarian.

The rector of “Prof. D-r. Assen Zlatarov” University, prof. d-r Magdalena Mitkova welcomed the participants of the event. The chairperson of the Municipal council of Burgas municipality, prof. d-r Sevdalina Turmanova and the Deputy mayor of Burgas municipality, Mrs. Diana Savateva, greeted the participants and wished success to the project.

The event was attended by 70 representatives of project stakeholders and target groups, including executive agency "Мaritime administration-Burgas", the Port of Burgas and many journalists.

During the event 3 main themes were presented. Prof. d-r Irena Markovska, Deputy rector of “Prof. D-r. Assen Zlatarov” University and project coordinator presented the project LeNetEco2, its overall and specific objectives, project partners, target groups, planned activities and results. 

Assoc. prof. Nikola Todorov, specialist of profile organizations-laboratories, presented Work package T1 “Creation of the Internet Platform “LeNetEco”.

Assoc. prof.   Daniela Toneva, expert in curriculum development, presented Work package T2 “Development of the training program”, its main activities, target groups and expected results.

The event was part of Group of activity “Communication”, activity A.C.3 “Public event(s)”, deliverable  D.C.3.1 “Report on the press-conference about the start of the project”.
