Activity T2 – Development of the Training Program Survival kits for target groups in Ukraine

Danubius University of Galati, the leading partner of the LeNetEco2 project, has completed the procurement procedure of the package of survival kits for the target groups in Ukraine. The procurement of the survival kits represents the realization of an additional component, introduced within the Group of Activities GA2 - Development of the training program, as a result of the evolution of the military conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation. The need to purchase survival kits arose at the request of the project partner from Odessa - Ukraine (PB3 - National Polytechnic University of Odessa). The survival kit pack consists of 120 survival kits that include the following items:

1. First aid kit consisting of: isothermal film / emergency blanket, tweezers, cotton pads, a pair of gloves, wound pads, an adhesive tape and triangular bandage, adhesive bandages, alcohol wipes, long/short bandage.

2. Metal flashlight.

3. Stainless steel drinking container with tight closure and a capacity of 500 ml.

4. Waterproof cover for phone and documents.

5. Powerbank 5000 mAh with 5V USB output + USB cable.

6. Polyester backpack with approximate dimensions of 30 cm x 40 cm x 25 cm, minimum 2 compartments inside, padded and sponged.

7. Portable radio with Bluetooth speaker function, USB charging port.

8. Hooded Raincoat, transparent, one size fits all.

The 120 survival kits will be sent in the next period to Odessa through the humanitarian hub in Tulcea.
