University Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov Zlatarov, Burgas, Bulgaria - P4 successfully conducted a training of PG2 (students) under the project LeNetEco2
In the period May 16th, 2022 - May 21st 2022, P4 - University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”, Bulgaria successfully conducted a training of PG2 - students (in Hotel Avenue, Burgas). The training of students is a part of Work Package T2 "Development of a training program", activity A.T2.4 "Training events", under the project “Establishment of Learning Network for the consolidation effort of joint environmental control and monitoring in the Black Sea Basin 2 ”, LeNetEco2, project code: BSB 1088.
A total number of 85 students from University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov ” and Technical University of Varna (minimum 80 according to the requirements of the project) successfully passed the training under the program entitled "MONITORING AND PROTECTION OF WATER AND MARINE ENVIRONMENT IN THE BLACK SEA REGION".
The students were divided into 3 groups. The first group included 34 students mainly from the specialty "Ecology" at the University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”, Burgas. The second group included 26 students (mainly from the specialty "Ecology" from the Technical University - Varna, hence the Expert in curriculum development - assoc. Prof. Daniela Toneva works in Technical University - Varna). A bus was provided for them to take students from Varna to Burgas. The third group included 25 students from different specialties from the University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”, Burgas.
The training was conducted by the three experts from P4 - assoc. Prof. Daniela Toneva - Expert in curriculum development P4, assoc. Prof. Alexander Dimitrov - Expert in monitoring methodology and assoc. Prof. Nikola Todorov - Specialist of profile organizations-laboratories.
At the end of the training each student received a certificate signed by the project coordinator - Prof. Irena Markovska, who is also Vice Rector of the University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov ”and Expert in curriculum development P4 - Assoc. Prof. Daniela Toneva. All participants will receive an International Certificate, signed by the leading partner of the project, too.
After processing the questionnaires that the students filled out after the end of the training, their opinion will be taken in order a program in Ecology to be developed, which will include the curriculum of future bachelor students at the University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov ”.
