LeNetEco2 project interim coordination meeting was held on 23.08.2021-24.08.2021 (Monday – Tuesday), starting each day at 09:30 am, and it lasted for approximately five hours, until 14.30 pm. The place of the meeting was Aqua Hotel Burgas, bul. Demokracia, complex Lazur.

The working language of the meeting was English.

23.08.2021 – Day 1

Welcome, introduction and adoption of the agenda

The project coordinator of PB4 University “Prof. D-r Assen Zlatarov” Mrs. Irena Markovska welcomes the participants and introduces the agenda of the meeting, which is unanimously adopted. Mr. Lucian Tilea, Project Manager of LeNetEco2 welcomes the participants and wishes a successful meeting.

Project status – work done for the period 01.08.2020 – 31.07.2021

Mr. Lucian Tilea, Project Manager of LeNetEco2 (Lead Beneficiary: Danubius University of Galati, Romania) presented the work done by the LB in the period 01.08.2020 – 31.07.2021. The project manager put emphasis on activities that are delayed. Mr. Tilea proposed to the participants that the Second Joint Research Team Workshop (D.T3.4.1) to be organized and conducted in the second half of October 2021.

Mr. Viorel Babaian, Project coordinator (Project beneficiary 2: Agency of Sustainable Development and European Integration "Lower Danube" Euroregion) presented the progress made by PB2 for the period 01.08.2020 – 31.07.2021.

Mrs. Nataliia Lebid, Financial Manager (Project beneficiary PB3: Odessа Polytechnic State University) presented the work done by PB4 for the period 01.08.2020 – 31.07.2021.

Mrs. Irena Markovska, Project coordinator (Project beneficiary PB4: University “Prof. D-r Assen Zlatarov”) presented the work done by PB4 for the period 01.08.2020 – 31.07.2021.

Mrs. Florentina-Natalia Budescu, (PB5 Association of Cross Border Cooperation “Lower Danube Euroregion”) presented the work done by PB5 for the period 01.08.2020 – 31.07.2021.

Mr. Artur Nebunu, Director of Ecological Counseling Center Cahul (PB6 Ecological Counseling Center Cahul) presented the work done by PB6 for the period 01.08.2020 – 31.07.2021.

GA T1 Creation of the Internet Platform “LeNetEco” – work done, current status and next steps

Mr. Mykhailo Lebid, Project coordinator of PB3 Odessа Polytechnic State University, responsible partner for GA T1 “Creation of the Internet Platform “LeNetEco” reported the work done. Mr. Lebid informed the participants that PB3 has developed a draft of the deliverable D.T3.1.2 “Work plan of the JRT”. He informed the participants that the tender procedure for selection of an external service provider for the creation of the LeNetEco 2 platform will take appropriately one month. PB3 planes to launch the tender procedure in the period September – October 2021.

GA T2 Development of the training program - work done, current status and next steps

Mr. Grigore Baboianu, Project manager assistant of the LB Danubius University of Galati reported the progress of GA T2 Development of the training program. On 22.07.2021-23.07.2021 internal online meeting among the experts of curriculum development of all partners took place. The meeting was organized and protocoled by the expert’s leader Daniela Toneva, PB4.

24.08.2021 – Day 2

During the second day of the LeNetEco2 interim coordination meeting, all project partners discussed the current status of the partners’ interim reports and FLC appointment. The project partners discussed setting up an internal deadline for the preparation of the partner interim reports, their verification by the appointed FLC and submission to the LB. Taking in mind that the LB has to summarize the partner reports and consolidates the into the project interim report, the project partners approved the end of September 2021 as internal deadline for submission the verified partner reports to the LB.

The LB informed the participants that Addendum 2 of the project has not yet been officially submitted to the JTC. The addendum will include the change of the official name of PB3 as well as budget transfer of 12 000.00 euro between budget lines “Staff costs” to “External expertise and services” of PB3.

During the discussion Mrs. Radina Boyanova, Technical expert of PB4, noted that according to the Project implementation manual, an addendum is approved within 45 days from its submission. Taking in mind that the deadline date for submission of the project interim report is 31.10.2021 (within 90 days following the end of the reporting period 31.07.2021) the addendum 2 should be submitted as soon as possible.

o All partners approved internal deadline for submission of Addendum 2 of LeNetEco2 project to the JTC not later than 03.09.2021.

GA Management, Activity A.M.3 “Project day-to-day management”, D.M.3.3 “Interim Report”

o All partners approved internal deadline schedule for preparation the partner interim reports, verification by FLC and their submission to the Lead Beneficiary until the end of September, 2021.

GA Т3 „Joint Environmental Research“, Activity A.T3.4 „Second Joint Research Team Workshop“

o First Joint Research Team Workshop protocol, D.T3.3.1 and First Joint Research Team Workshop Report, D.T3.3.2 will be sent to all partners by mid of September 2021, responsible partner PB2.

o The Second Joint Research Team Workshop, D.T3.4.1 will be organized and conducted in the second half of October 2021, responsible partner PB6.

o The deliverable D.T3.1.2 “Work plan of the JRT” will be sent to all partners not later than the end of September, 2021, responsible partner PB3.

o Internal online meetings among experts “Monitoring methodology” and “Specialist of profile organizations-laboratories” to be organized not later than mid October 2021, responsible partner PB2.
